Omg so excited! So yesterdayI finally got a chance to work out for twenty minutes by myself (I usually jog with my two babies in stroller). I was happily flipping through People Style Watch (March 2013 issue) on the treadmill and could not believe what I saw – Prabal Gurung has made a ready to wear collection for women for Target which is now available! Of course I went online right after my babies went to sleep last night to see the whole collection and I just had to blog about it. It’s so amazing. I have been a huge fan of the Target Go International Collections who has previously worked with fabulous designers like Erin Fetherston, Jovovich Hawk, Jason Wu, Anna Sui, Zac Posen (congratulations to Zac for being the newest judge on Project Runway!), and Rodarte to name a few. At the each collection debuted, I made a point to buy one of their pieces that my closet could not live without. Lets take a walk down memory lane!
Although the clothes are not available at Target anymore, there are a lot available used or unworn for purchase at Ebay. All these pieces ranged from $29.99 – $59.99.
Prabal Gurung is no exception! His pieces range from $14.99 – $199.99. The most expensive being a blue leather moto jacket. I don’t think I will be able to only buy one of his pieces! Help! I want so many!
His pieces are really like masterpieces. Vibrant, colorful, playful, and full of flirty details. These are my tops picks out of his look book.
This is my favorite look. What a gorgeous red dress. I have been looking for something similar for quite a while now. I am a huge fan of dresses and especially the color red. I think this is simple enough that I can dress it down with flats and some gold accessories for an everyday look. Take a closer look at the shoes.
I must buy these shoes! So in love with the cut outs and Meet the Parents floral print. The price is the best part, only $39.99 ladies! Wow. They almost remind me of the Christian Louboutin Lace Booties but at a fraction of the price. Remember these gorgeous things?
The other shoes I am obsessed with are these gorgeous lace up heels in the seasons hottest colors. Yellow and pretty pink blue and green pastels. Maybe I should buy the flat instead so I can enjoy it more since I really don’t get a chance to wear heels all that much these days! I would look so silly on my playdates! But not in these flats! I have the perfect yellow lace dress and coral a-line dress to pair them with. Or even just some boyfriend jeans and a white tee. Hm, yes! I like it!
This blue ruffled mens inspired blouse is also a much have! Look how great it looks tucked into some tight black cigarette pants.
Speaking of menswear, check out this Prabal Gurung look. I find this to be a very sexy version of a tuxedo! Love, especially with the red heels and a bright red lip. Prabal Gurung Black/White pleated dress.
This is also a favorite look of mine. Very spring, very confident. Perfect for a an afternoon strolling in South Beach! Love the pockets on the floral shorts and all the yellow lace details on the dress shirt. I like how the long sleeves on the blouse off set all the skin showing on the legs. Great styling!
I hope you enjoyed the Prabal Gurung pieces as much as I did! This is the time to shop at Target! Spend $50 and get free shipping, and spend $75 dollars to get an additional 20% off!!!

Your first dress is not Zac Posen, it’s Jason Wu.
Thanks Rachel! We appreciate the help! Oops!
It was totally a fluke catching it! But I did a PG review on my blog – rachelunraveled.blogspot.com too!
