Shopping my closet for the holidays……

Holiday parties and get togethers with old friends and new make December a busy month for everyone.  As a girl, I ALWAYS wanted to have something new to wear to a party.  Always wanted to look my best.  Not surprisingly, I still do!

Whheeeeeeeeeee!  So let’s go to the mall and and shop to my heart’s content!  JUST KIDDING!  At the mature age that I am (tee hee) I now know that it’s much more pocket-book friendly to shop my closet first.  I thought I’d show you a few things that I’m thinking of breaking out for dinners with friends and holiday parties alike – via Instagram.

Haute Hippie sequin mini in nude….so many options!

Joie lace top with ruched 3/4 sleeves – so cute with my Haute Hippie mini, above!

One of my best shoe purchases – Loeffler Randall suede over the knee boots. Seriously they look good with just about ANYTHING.

New Botkier ‘going-out’ bag……the vintage gold look works well with most outfits!

Score at Bop (Shopbop’s store-front) last summer – Rebecca Minkoff. Neon + studs = the perfect touch to an all-black ensemble.

Can’t tell you where I got these or when – but I can tell you that they are my #1 go-to when I need some pumps to complete an outfit.

Sequin jacket from J Crew. Dark skinny jeans, red suede wedges……and an LV to top it all off.

Got this Haute Hippie dress in Vegas last year on clearance – there is nothing ‘clearance’ about it! It has small sequin detail throughout and is paired with a lurex & braided belt from Forever 21. It’s sweet and saucy (and comfy!).

Mixing and matching patterns and textures – so it makes sense to pop a black blazer over the ensemble…….Add my go-to pumps and i’m done!

T-shirt lined boots from Splendid. Enough said. Well maybe not – I literally can wear these with anything!!!! Great for running around with the kids -and still looking stylish.

Just had to show you my fashionista in the making. Miss Gemma put my scarf around her shoulders and my burgundy hat on all by herself. #futurevogueintern

Hope you enjoyed my little ‘fashion show’ today…….maybe I’ve inspired you to shop your closet this season as well?

Signing off in style,

Mollie & Erin
